Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson, the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, has revealed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will soon produce a female president shortly to demonstrate to the world that the NPP is a party that gives women opportunities to serve the country.
She went on to say that they have a lot of great women in their party.
Hon Hawa Koomson averred that there will be a time in this country that Ghana will have a female president or even a female vice adding that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has demonstrated in the 2020 general elections by appointing Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman as their Vice Presidential Candidate for the NDC.
She said that some people condemn female politicians as prostitutes.
“Some politicians accused me of having three children with different fathers which are not true. I have three children with the same husband,’’ Hon Hawa Koomson told Metro TV.
