President of Ghana Premier League side, Ashantigold, Dr Kwaku Frimpong (Champion) says his outfits trainer, Roberto Landi will have challenges concerning which players to pick for the forthcoming season.
The Obuasi based club in the ongoing transfer window has lost many key players including top striker Shafiu Mumuni, midfielder Latif Anabila, goalkeeper Frank Boateng, young and talented centre back Yusif Mubarik and others.
However, the club has responded to add to the playing body with the likes of Yaw Annor, Jacob Appau Asiedu, Hans Kwoffie, Nathaniel Ohene Asamoah, Michael Enu, Boadu Dacosta and Burkinabe goalie Mohammed Bailou.
Reacting to the exit of the aforementioned players, he said, “Our new boys are above the names (you mentioned), our coach now has selection headache”.
“It was a nice game, we have the best team. And we proved to the whole Ghanaians that Ashgold is the best team” he said after their game with Asokwa Deportivo.
He affirmed his side has the best team in Ghana currently and is optimistic about his side making a great impact in the upcoming season.
The Ghana Premier League side are currently preparing for the new football season where they will compete in the domestic competitions as well as the CAF Confederation Cup.
