Chairperson of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim has said the executives are not supporting the party’s development.
According to her, if the party is unable to select national executives and flagbearer for the presidency, they should rather blame Bright Akwatey and Yaw Asamoah, not Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim because she doesn’t have any negative mindset against the party.
She stated that the majority of the Executive among the party doesn’t have respect for the females and it really disgraces the party (CPP).
Speaking to Dadi FM’s “Efa Wo Ho” morning show host, Abena Opokua Ahwenee, Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim describes the National Treasure for CPP, Mr Samuel Godwin as a hypocrite.
In furtherance, she indicated that if they don’t want her to continue with her hard work as a chairperson for the party, they should organize a congress to resign her from the party.
“This is the time for the Executives in the party to speak the truth for the country and stop playing with the heart of Ghanaians,” she stated.
Explaining to the host she said that some people don’t have the party’s card yet have been made a running mate just to ensure peace and unity.
Madam Hajia Hamdatu added that she will never keep her silence for some of the executives to behave unnecessarily to destroy the party.
She asserted that the party members should not worry about where she gets her money to support the party as people are thinking negatively about her saying “she has gone for money rituals”
She, therefore, urges all the CPP Executives to do the right thing that will promote peace and unity to enable the party to win the general election.
