Assemblies of God Church order Pastors to use social media platforms to preach as it bans all church activities for four weeks
The National Headquarters of the Assemblies of God Church has asked churches to use their available media platforms to preach the gospel to the members.
The church has also with immediate effect suspended all church activities including Sunday service, youth meetings, Bible Studies, Men and women ministry meetings and all other departmental groups within the church.
The directive was in respect of the President, Nana Akufo-Addo’s order barring all social gatherings as the country is putting measures in place to clear the pandemic deadly Corona Virus and has invaded the country some days ago.
The release signed by the General Superintendent of the Church, Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong Manso and copied to the regional, district and head pastors said the ban will last for four months.
On the Church Pastoral school, University, Senior High and Basic schools, the communiqué said they must be closed down indefinitely until further notice it the final year students be allowed to prepare for their upcoming examination.
