Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa launched the first phase of a Skills Programme in the constituency of the Volta region.
560 constituents from all the 6 traditional areas are receiving specialized training in the weeks ahead from master craftsmen in ICT, fashion design and hair dressing.
The package includes startup funds to establish new businesses in North Tongu after completion of the training.
In addition to their startup capital, the ICT trainees shall all receive new laptops to also serve as a start up tool to start business.
The MP, has over the years initiated my policies and programmes aimed at improving the livelihood of his constituents.
