The West Africa Examination Council(WAEC) has released the 2022 WASSCE results.
The performance of the candidates is improved over the previous year 2021.
60.39% of the candidates passed the English Language, 61.39% passed Core mathematics, whilst 62.45% passed Integrated science 71.51% passed Social studies
The number of candidates who entered the exams was 5.26% lower than in 2021.
Some 2,818 candidates representing 0.67% were absent.
In all,422,883 candidates made up of 203,753 males and 219,130 females entered the exams from 977 schools.
The figure is 5.25% lower than the 2021 figure of 446,352. A total of 2,818 candidates representing 0.67% were absent.
