The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has detained former Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Sammi Awuku, over alleged corruption and financial irregularities linked to his tenure at the Authority.
The Akuapem North lawmaker’s detention forms part of ongoing investigations into financial transactions and other dealings at the NLA. More details are expected as investigations continue.
