Takyi Addo, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Abbossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, has questioned the continued public commentary on Ghana’s economy by Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairperson, Abena Osei Asare.
According to Mr Addo, he finds it difficult to understand why the PAC Chairperson continues to speak publicly about the state of Ghana’s economy, particularly given her position and responsibilities within Parliament.
“I find it difficult to understand why PAC Chairperson, Abena Osei Asare, continues to speak on Ghana’s economy today,” Takyi Addo said.
He suggested that her comments on economic matters should be carefully considered in the context of her role and the issues currently confronting the Ghanaian economy.
His remarks come amid ongoing public debate over the government’s management of the economy, with various stakeholders weighing in on economic policies, public expenditure and the country’s financial situation.
