President John Dramani Mahama has sworn Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings into office as Minister for Environment, Science and Technology.
The ceremony was held at the Jubilee House on Saturday, 29 August 2026, following her approval by Parliament.
Dr Agyeman-Rawlings took the Oath of Allegiance, Oath of Office and Oath of Secrecy, formally marking the beginning of her tenure at the Ministry.
President Mahama charged the Minister to strengthen environmental regulation, intensify efforts against illegal mining, promote scientific research and support innovation across key sectors including agriculture, healthcare, energy, climate resilience and manufacturing.
The Ministry welcomes Hon. Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings and looks forward to advancing Ghana’s environmental sustainability, scientific development and technological innovation agenda under her leadership.
