The Methodist Church Ghana, Dunwell Society in Koforidua-Atekyem is gracefully 20 years.
The anniversary is themed: “Walking in the Word, Equipped for every Good Work:20 years Journey of Dunwell Society”.
Reverend Isaac Yao Boamah, the Minister In-Charge of the Dunwell Methodist Society in an interview told the media that, the Society’s 20th anniversary celebration is graced by the Lord and therefore, urged leaders, caretakers, stewards and everyone to get involved to climax in a more special way.
In view of that, the church has organized free health screening and a special Food Bazaar at the Church premises last Saturday.
He explained further that all activities carried are to encourage members and outsiders that there’s joy in the house of the Lord.
“Sometimes things are done to help members to also feel they are most special to the church” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the grand durbar of the whole anniversary will be held on Saturday, 5th September and it is expected to be massive as a lot of dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion.
