The Ghana Football Association (GFA) says it will take President John Dramani Mahama’s concerns about the standard of officiating in the domestic game seriously.
Mahama recently criticised refereeing in Ghana football during a meeting with representatives of Medeama SC, Nations FC and Ampem Darkoa at Jubilee House.
However, GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum insisted the association does not regard the President’s remarks as an attack.
Speaking to Luv FM, Asante Twum said the comments should serve as motivation for the GFA to review its efforts and continue improving the game.
