Ghana’s Accra Sports Stadium has been cleared by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host international matches, paving the way for the Black Stars to return to the venue for their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
The approval follows months of renovation work by the National Sports Authority (NSA), with the stadium now deemed to have met CAF’s requirements for international fixtures.
The certification comes after the venue previously lost its approval, forcing Ghana to consider alternative locations for home matches.
