A motorbike mechanic has been brutalized by Police at Akyem Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region.
The victim identified as Tagbor on Friday, July 24, 2020, allegedly had a misunderstanding with the Police at Jumapo Police Checkpoint on Koforidua to Akyem Tafo highway road which he sped off, however, pursued and brutalized by the Police on Kukurantumi stretch of the road.
The victim reported the incident to New Tafo District Police Command and was issued Police medical form to seek treatment.
The Eastern Regional Police Commander has been notified by the Akyem Tafo Police to release the suspect police officers to assist in the investigation.
