The Chief of Fadama Zongo in Asamankese of the Eastern Region, Saliki Mohammed Bala Shaibu has said the Akufo-Addo led administration since 2017 has been kind to Muslims across the country and said Muslims will not forget them.
He said Muslims will continue to pray and support the Bawumia/Akufo-Addo administration to do more for Ghana.
Speaking to Muslims on Eid al-Adha day when Office of the Vice President led by Director of Operations, Alhaji Sumaila donated 10 bulls to Muslims in the Area, Mohammed Bala Shaibu said the NPP administration had not abandoned Muslims since assumption of office and asked Allah to grant their heart desires.
He said the donation was surprised to them and prayed for more blessing upon Alhaji Bawumia and his partners, adding, “Anyone who helps you to climb a tree, don’t forget him”.
In order to ensure fair distribution, the Operations Director at the Vice president supervised the slaughtering of the bulls and shared it for kids, Woman and men in Asamankese Fadama and Zabon Zongo as well as Zongo elders and chiefs without discrimination and political colour.
Thousands of Muslims and non-Muslims who shares a boundary with the beneficiaries joined queues for the donation and described the gesture as extraordinary and were grateful to the Vice president Bawumia.
