Medeama SC mercurial midfielder, Kwasi Donsu is targeting a move to Europe despite playing for United Soccer League side, Colorado Spring Switchbacks FC in America.
The Yellow and Mauve club in 2019 farmed out Donsu for a season-long loan to the American side but refused to make the contracts permanent after the 2019 USL season.
In an interview with Bryt FM in Koforidua, Donsu reiterated a desire to feature for a club in Europe and has promised to work for it.
“I have played in the USL in America before but right now my target is to move to Europe in the coming days. There are a lot of agents who want to work with me but it’s unfortunate the coronavirus has halted everything”
“We are unable to travel outside the country because of the pandemic. I pray we can get rid of the disease as soon as possible so I can achieve my target”
“I’m still in talks and preparing for any opportunity that comes my way. I’m ready to join any European team that seeks my services”
“I will be happy to play in Europe but I don’t have a specific club I want to play for but it is my aim to continue my career in Europe,” he said.
