The interim Executives of Ghana Association of Elected Assembly Members (GAAM) will today August 13, 2020, visit the National Chief Imam Sheik Nuhu Shaributu.
The Secretary of GAAM, Dennis Obeng Agyei said in a brief statement that, the “interim executives wish to inform the house on a courtesy call to the Chief Imam on Thursday, 13th August 2020 to outdoor the Association to his office and to discuss with him his role in helping us realize our mission”
The visit is part of measures to officially introduce the Association to key stakeholders and abreast them with its vision in making local governance efficient and effective to enhance participatory democracy and development.
The National President of Ghana Association of Elected Assembly Members (GAAM) Charles Asinor told mybryfmonline.com the Association has visited the office of former President John Dramani Mahama, President of National House of Chiefs, Togbe Afede, Waste Management companies – Zoomlion, Jekora Ventures, among others.
He said the tour will be Climaxed at the Presidency where they will interact with President Akufo Addo to discuss ways to enhance the work of Assembly members to help improve governance.
