Head coach of Medeama SC Samuel Boadu has attributed his side’s 2-1 defeat to Dreams FC on lack of concentration.
The Yellow and Mauves suffered their first defeat in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign at the Theater of Dreams in matchday two.
Striker Joseph Esso opened the scoring after capitalizing on a defensive howler by Ibrahim Yaro to open the scoring.
The Tarkwa based club pulled the much-needed equalizer through Kwadwo Asamoah but Issah Ibrahim secured victory for the home side on the stroke of full time with a decisive spot-kick.
Speaking at the post-match conference, Samuel Boadu attributed his side’s defeat to loss of concentration and he believes the results could have been different if his charges were focused.
“Ones we’ve lost the game I would agree, lack concentration affected us along the line. In fact, lack of concentration can cost a lot so we are going to work on it after this defeat”
“We have now begun the season so I think it will take time for my boys to gel up with their normal play,” he said.
