Three hundred and fifteen (315) students have been graduated from All Nations University in Koforidua.
This is the first graduation ceremony after the University was granted a Presidential charter on May 28, 2020.
Addressing the graduands, the President of All Nations University, Dr. Samuel Donkor charged the graduands to use the knowledge acquired and resilience experienced from the coronavirus pandemic to overcome every challenge they confront.
“the year of COVID-19, which disrupted everything we know to be normal; your life, academics, health, economics, and indeed every aspect of life has been threatened by the COVID -19 pandemic. Yet, despite all the challenges the Coronavirus threw at you, you beat the odds to graduate. Congratulations Class of 2020! This attests to your resilience in the face of pushbacks and adversity” Dr. Donkor said.
He added “henceforth, take a cue from this experience and know that you have what it takes to face and overcome every challenge that life may bring your way. Nevertheless, know that mentorship is the key to success in life. Do not assume that your graduation today marks the end of your learning. Rather, today marks the beginning of your professional development and that requires mentoring. Without that, learning can be slow and progress challenging”
Dr. Samuel Donkor advised the graduands to also embrace mentoring in career development to progress by leaps and bounds to facilitate their trajectory to the top regardless of where they find themselves.
Dr. Samuel Donkor revealed that All Nations University will from January 1, 2021 start Graduate School programs.
“ANU will begin with three programs. Namely; Master of Business Administration in Hospital Management
Master of Philosophy in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration in Information Technology. Consequently, God has graciously blessed us with a great scholar, Prof. Senyo Adjibolosoo who just retired from the Nazarene University, Point Loma, California, the USA to help the All Nations Graduate School to take off” He said.
He thanked the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for mentoring ANU from 2008 till 2020.
He also expressed gratitude to the Minister of Education, Mathew Opoku Prempeh, and President Akufo Addo for the presidential charter granted the University.
Ngaji Jasmine from Anambra State in Nigeria has crowned the overall best graduating student with First Class honors.
