A young man believed to be 35 years has hanged himself to death at Koforidua Nsukwao of the Eastern region.
Popularly known as Kofi Tiatia, the deceased was seen hanging on a tree in the Tanoso electoral area in the New Juaben South municipality.
The deceased was wearing a light blue trouser and Lakers’ singlet with inscription number 12.
Sources available to the reporter revealed that the deceased was part of four guys who raped and murdered a lady at Abrewa Nkwanta, a suburb of Koforidua about two years ago.
Assembly member for the area, Courage Martin Yaw in an interview with the media indicated that the deceased is known in the area as his part of drug addicts at “Bonkam” (A place known to be a hideout for drugs users and criminals).
Meanwhile, the body has since been deposited at the St. Joseph hospital awaiting autopsy.
