Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has admitted that the government of the NPP under the leadership of Akufo-Addo has made Ghana better than before.
To him, Akufo Addo through his policies and programs has eased Ghanaians particularly, the youth from loads of pressure left in office by the then president Mahama.
Dr. Bawumia made this comment in a Facebook post to mark the International Youth Day in Ghana and across the world.
However, the NPP vowed to decrease the distress Ghanaians were facing under the economic misrule of the NDC government.
At the time of the NDC administration, there was corruption in clearing goods at the ports while the NPP government fixed it through the digitized process of paperless ports.
Again, there was a difficulty and bureaucracy in applying for scholarships under the regime of NDC therefore the NPP government has fixed it. Following the digitization at the scholarship secretariat, everyone can apply for a scholarship and receive the same in the comfort of his or her home via an online application.
There was bureaucracy, bribery, and difficulty in obtaining a driver’s license some years ago and now we have digitized the operations of DVLA and today our citizens have a much more convenient and easy way to acquire their driver’s license and register their vehicles.
Even though many Ghanaians are in the face of challenges especially as a result of the economic implications of the COVID-19 pandemic, yet the NPP government has been able to make things available to benefit Ghanaians in just for years in office and hope to do more in the years ahead.
