The Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Boamah Otokunor has said that the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Adukwei Mensa will be sacked when NDC win the 2024 presidential election.
According to him, the EC boss does not deserve to occupy her position considering how she conducted the 2020 general elections.
He stated that Jean Mensah after all the circumstances that surrounded the 2020 polls remains the EC Chair because President Akufo-Addo has no respect for democracy.
“The Akufo-Addo led government employed all means to sack Charlotte Osei when they grabbed power, the next NDC government will follow the same procedure to boot out Jean Mensah,” he said.
