The man found murdered by an unknown assailant(s) in Koforidua has been identified as Managing director of “Our father” herbal soap company.
The about 50-year-old man, Mr. Alexander Kwateng, was found dead in an uncompleted building near the National Investigation Bureau(NIB) office in Koforidua, Eastern Region.
A visit to the scene Wednesday, August 11, 2021, observed that the deceased was stabbed multiple times with a knife by his assailant(s) after a struggle.
He was lying in the supine position in a pool of blood while a knife and mobile phone stained with blood were found beside the body.
Police and NIB officials were at the scene Wednesday afternoon for investigations after which the body was conveyed to the morgue.
Mybrytfmonline.com’s visit to the house of the deceased at Koforidua -Oyoko on Friday observed a solemn mourning mood as the sudden death of Alex Kwateng has shocked the family and the entire Community.
According to the family, the deceased informed the wife that he was going to the hospital on the morning of Wednesday however did not return.
The family upon hearing the news on a murder case curiously went to the Police station to make an official report of his missing which subsequently the family was allowed to identify the body.
The family is assisting the police in the investigation.
The late Alexander Kwateng left behind a wife and three children.
He was a staunch member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
