Renominated MCE for Suhum Margaret Darko went on frenzy jubilation on the streets of Suhum to celebrate her renomination with her supporters Sunday afternoon after the Ministry of Local Government and rural development released a list of nominees for Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).
The MCE could not hold back her tears when she recounted attacks, false allegations, and smeared campaigns against her renomination.
In all, she gave thanks to God for strengthening her to be steadfast.
She also expressed appreciation to President Akufo Addo and his Vice Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and their spouses as well as all other persons who believed in her competence.
Speaking to the media, the Suhum MCE said, she has been retained to help the NPP break the eight years governance convention which she believes her hard work will make a reality in Suhum.
She however called for unity and support to help develop Suhum.
