A family whose home was gutted by fire on Wednesday was completely astonished when a Qu’ran was found completely unblemished in its states and the only thing that survived flames.
The family was very surprised to find the book in such perfect condition amidst the wreckage.
Commuters of Bibiani expressed shock after seeing the Qu’ran remaining flawless after the fire outbreak which occurred at Bibiani Oldtown, in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai municipal of the Western North Region whiles the flames burnt down Six (6) bedrooms house.
Alongside the ‘survived’ Quran, several properties and thousands of Cedis were burnt to ashes whiles after the Bibiani firefighters managed to quenched the flames.
Narrating the incident to the press, one of the victims, Rabieu Mohammed, explained that “It was light out and whiles my elder sister was in her room, the light came back with a high voltage. All I saw in a jiffy was a fire ignited by the extension board leading to the whole house being set ablaze.”
The Bibianti Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assistant Fire Commander Mr.Norbelt Kwadjo Sarfo said no life was lost and adding that investigations are on-going to ascertain the cause of the fire.
He, therefore, called on the residents to be extra vigilant when using fire in this dry season.
