Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates have been urged to remain focused and determined as they sit for their final examination.
Candidates have also been advised to read and understand the questions before answering them.
Madam Mary Posch Oduro, National Treasurer hopeful of the ruling New Patriotic Party in a statement warned candidates to desist from examination malpractice but rather concentrate on what they have been taught over the years to avoid any punishment that comes with such attitude.
She was, however, optimistic candidates would perform well in this year’s examination to gain access to the free Senior High School policy introduced by the Akufo-Addo led government.
About 571, 894 Junior High school candidates across the country are taking part in the BECE which started on Monday, 15th November 2021 at over 2,000 centres.
