South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will face Ghanaian outfit Hasaacas Ladies FC in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League final on Friday.
The two teams booked a place in the final after winning their semifinal encounters respectively.
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies defeated Equatorial Guinean team Malabo Kings 5-4 in the penalty shoot-out following a 0-0 draw at the end of regulation time whereas the Ghanaian champions inflicted a 2-1 win over AS FAR of Morocco.
It will be the second meeting between the two nations in less than a week after Bafana Bafana controversially lost 1-0 to Ghana in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in Cape Coast last Sunday.
The much-anticipated game will has been slated for Friday.
