Some residents of Asamankese of the Eastern Region on Monday storm high street of the Town to witness their share of 307 Ambulances on test soon after the Municipal Chief Executive handed over the Ambulance to Heath Directorate.
The residents who were in joyful mood lauded the government for the initiative and called for the inculcation of Maintenance Culture.
Baffour Kwasi Asante, a resident in Asamankese who spoke to the media called on caretakers of the Ambulance to take it as their personal property and ensure it is always in good shape.
He called on the Ministry of Monitoring and Evaluation to collaborate with the Health Ministry to monitor the Ambulance always to meet its objective.
A woman who spoke to media, Abena Kwakyewaa also urged the government to consider rendering free Ambulance service for the sick, especially those who are needy and poor.
