National Welfare Committee Member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a National Treasurer hopeful, Mary Posch-Oduro has directed that all disciples, followers, supporters, well-wishers, and sympathizers to respectfully abide by the directives put forth by the National Steering Committee ahead of the party’s delegates conference.
The leadership of the party has issued a directive banning all internal politics at the national delegates conference scheduled in Kumasi this weekend.
In a statement responding to the directive, Madam Posch-Oduro urged her supporters to hold back any decision to display flyers, banners, T-shirts, posters, and any material whatsoever, with her name, picture, or symbol embossed to promote her candidature at the conference.
It again emphasized on a disclaimer that “any activity by any person that contravenes the above directives is tantamount to a sanction solely on that person which Mary Posch-Oduro stands innocent”.
The National Treasurer hopeful also spoke about the party’s directive for all delegates to take their COVID-19 vaccine and urged all to partake in the exercise to ensure the virus is contained, especially at such a big event.
“As we accept the Release by National Steering Committee in good faith, all supporters of Mary Posch-Oduro are urged to take their jabs of Covid-19 Vaccines, and those who have taken theirs already shouldn’t forget to come to the Conference with their Vaccination Cards” the statement added.

Mary Posch-Oduro, the NPP National Treasurer Hopeful who doubles as National Welfare Committee Member of NPP has publicly endorsed the decision taken by the National Steering Committee of the party, banning the display of paraphernalia and materials meant to advertise individual aspirants at the upcoming National Annual Delegates Conference scheduled to take place on 18th to 20th December 2021 at Kumasi the Capital of Ashanti Region.
