Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu says he cannot explain why his outfit fielded 10 players in the first half of their Ghana Premier League clash in Dormaa.
It was an interesting spectacle on Wednesday afternoon when Kotoko and Aduana Stars fielded 10 players each in the first half of match day 11 of the league.
The game which ended 1-0 in favour of Aduana Stars was undoubtedly the top liner of day 11.
Winger Samuel Bioh’s solo strike in the 94th minute secured all three points for the home side.
For what is believed to be superstitious reasons, both clubs fielded 10 men in the first half and the Kotoko gaffer has declined to give a clear explanation as to why they exhibited such act.
Asked why they played with 10 men apiece in the first half, he said, “1 can’t explain that” said Maxwell Konadu.
