Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that the introduction of the National Identification Card is a transformation project President by the Akufo- Addo led administration.
To him, the Ghana Card is a national identity card that is issued by the Ghanaian authorities to Ghanaian citizens.
Speaking at a forum held by TESCON, students wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Bawumia affirmed that the future of the country is digitization.
As the country is focused on digitalization of the economy, Dr Bawumia averred that the country is moving from paper to paperless approach.
He explained that the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority of Ghana is now working on a paperless system.
