President Akufo-Addo has appointed Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
His appointment takes effect from Tuesday, May 3 2022.
The former Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, was a deputy minister for health in the first term of the Akufo-Addo led administration and was charged to support the Minister of Health in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, he lost the position when he was unable to maintain the Ledzokuku seat in the 2020 elections.
