The Member of Parliament (MP) of Walewale, Hajia Lariba Abudu, has held a dinner with the Outgoing and incoming constituency Executives and all contestants in the just-ended elections.
This is one of the initiatives by the MP to unite and bring everyone on board to ensure the New Patriotic Party, NPP retains the Walewale seat and also breaks the ‘8’ in the next general elections.
The MP took the opportunity and appealed to all lost contestants to rally behind the newly elected executives to ensure the party remain attractive to the people in the constituency.
The NPP just ended its internal constituency elections after that of polling stations to elect new leaders to steer the affairs of the party ahead of the 2024 general elections.
In attendance at the dinner were the Regional Minister, Regional Chairman, DCE for Walewale, Council of Elders, Outgoing and Incoming Executives, and all contestants.
