The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) insist the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Government has something to hide in connection with the COVID-19 Funds.
The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, in an interview with Kofi Adomah on Angel TV said he is surprised Government has denied several requests to audit the COVID-19 Funds by a cross-section of Ghanaians.
The ruling Akufo-Addo led government has failed to account for the funds despite calls by sections of Ghanaians, the minority in Parliament and other Civil Society groups.
However, the NDC Scriber assured Ghanaians that the next NDC government would ensure the Funds are accounted for to see how the monies were used and also bring culprits to book if there are any issues of corruption.
Asked why the NDC has not been active in organizing demonstrations lately, Mr Asiedu Nketiah narrated the tyrannical nature of the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration does not deserve such actions as they have turned deaf ears to the sufferings of Ghanaians.
