The Koforidua Area of The Church of Pentecost has ordained One hundred and Ninety (190) new officers made up of elders, deacons, and deaconesses.
The newly ordained officers include five (5) hearing impaired members of the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities (MPWDs); two (2) ordained as elders, two (2) as deaconesses, and one as a Deacon.
The hearing impaired performed better during the vetting than their able counterparts.
Ministering at the ordination Service, the Koforidua Area Head Apostle Samuel Osei Asante charged the new officers to bring onboard new energy and strength and be agents of transformation to reinforce the possessing the national agenda.
Apostle S.O Asante was however worried that many of the officers who failed the vetting had little knowledge about the scriptures, the Church of Pentecost, and the positions they wanted to serve.
He advised members of the Church to frequently read the Bible and read about the church of Pentecost.
Present were district Pastors and their wives, the Area Executive members, and some members of the Church.
