Board Chairman of National Food Buffer Stock Co. Ltd (NAFCO), Henry Nana Boakye witnessed the presentation of the Special African Business Leadership Commendation Award to Mr Hanan Abdul-Wahab, CEO of NAFCO by the African Leadership Organisation in New York, USA for the giant strides he has made in ensuring food security in Ghana.
The award was presented to him by the Prime Minister of St. Lucia, H.E Phillip J. Pierre.
The Forum was opened by the President of Guyana, H.E Ifraan Ali and was attended by an array of dignitaries including the Prime Ministers of Antoqua, St. Kitts & Nevis, Gen. Rtd. William Ward, the first Commander of the U.S African Command Center as well as business and diplomatic leaders.
Mr Hanan dedicated the award to H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the opportunity to serve and expressed his gratitude to the Board of NAFCO and all other stakeholders for the support given him thus far.
