Former Foreign Affairs Minister and the Patron of I – Smile Community Help Program, Hon. Hannah Serwaah Tetteh has urged parents/guardians, friends and loved ones to start being an advertising ambassadors to their wards after graduating them of any skills training they enroll them into.
According to her, such initiative will help create more business opportunities for them to have more income to cater for their families in the community.
I – Smile Community Help Program*, a center instituted at Awutu Bawjiase by the Former MP is basically to help train the Youths who will to enroll into technical and vocational training have played a significant role in communities around the area by training them for free and rewarding with a sewing machine and tools during a graduation time.
This, the former MP and patron for the I – Smile Community Help Program have urged all graduands to go out and make use of the skills they have acquired to impact others.
She made this known during the 10th Anniversary Celebration and also the 6th graduation ceremony at Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya West Constituency, Hon Gizella Agbotui Tetteh who also came to grace the occasion commended her sister (Former MP, Hon Hannah Serwaah Tetteh) for her continuous support to the center and every graduands urging them to make good use of the machines given to serve it’s purpose.
Lastly, Chief Executive Officer of the l – Smile Community Help Program, Ismaila Abdulai Andoh appealed for government support since though the center was initiated by the Former MP, but its impact have reduced teenage pregnancy in and around Bawjiase and surrounding communities drastically.
