Ghanaians have been urged to have confidence in herbal medication rather than depending solely on foreign drugs for treatment of diseases.
Despite applauding Ghana for strides made in advocating herbal medicine, it seems much needs to be done to convince citizens in the efficacy of herbal medication.
CEO of AM Medical And Research Centre, Dr. Ayede Abraham Donard was of the notion that herbal medicines can cure any form of diseases as I t was done in the olden days and called for stakeholder engagements to ensure it is well accepted.
“I will commend the Health ministry and the Ghana Health Services for adding herbal medication to that of the Western world. Patients can now decide to be put on either western or herbal medication because it has been approved and that is so refreshing” he stressed.
Speaking to Kwabena Nyarko Abronoma on Bryt FM news, Dr. Abraham emphasised that herbal medication cannot be over do away with as it comes with natural healing considering the plants, herbs, roots and other materials used to prepare those medicines.
On the activities of AM Medical And Research Centre, Dr. Ayede Abraham Ayede said his outfit has over the past three years provided holistic health care to the people of Akyem Kukurantumi and it’s environs.
He revealed “we don’t just administer any medicine without proper diagnosing a patient. We do thorough check before we recommend any medicine for our patients, that is why we have been outstanding since we started operations”.
He added that AM Medical And Research Centre is also made up of qualified and competent health professionals who have in depth knowledge into herbal and plant medicine and therefore called on the public to be sure of solutions to their health needs.
He again pledged his outfit’s commitment to providing quality herbal health care to the people in their catchment areas and Ghana at large.
