Addressing a section of the media and hundreds of party supporters in Suhum on Thursday having been denied access to the constituency office for the presser ,Otuo Kofi Adjei said concerns raised before, during and after the election were not addressed hence believe it was deliberate attempt by constituency and some regional executives to manipulate the election in favour of his main contender .
“I have an evidence where the constituency secretary and and the regional executives had a conversation which indicate that Chairman Afadzi allowed certain individuals to vote twice and also allowed people who don’t qualify to vote , we are not here to put the party to shame rather we are here to say the truth”.
“I promise you that on the 7th December , 2024 Otuo Kofi Adjei will win the seat from the NPP and the means to win it lies in you and I our hands ,you haven’t heard from me so some of you are saying Otuo is going independent Otuo is going to court but when they ask you tell them that Otuo said 7th December 2024 the EC will announce me Kofi as the winner of Suhum Constituency ” he said.
He further accused the Constituency executives of using an amount of money received from the office of the former President John Dramani Mahama to sponsor one aspirant instead of sharing it to the delegate as it was intended for.
Additionally , he gave the party’s constituency and Regional executives one month ultimatum to immediately address all the concern he has raised else will advise himself.
The Gyaasehene of Suhum Nana Kofi Obeng accused the constituency executives for their bias in the entire election.
Nana Kofi Obeng cautioned the constituency executives not to take the 510 vote casted in favor of Otuo Kofi Adjei for granted stating it is indication that he has massive support of many party members in the constituency therefore should he go independent, the party will be at the receiving end.
