The Chairperson of the Minerals Commission Board, Hon. Mrs Barbera Oteng Gyasi, had a fruitful engagement with the Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
Hon. Oteng Gyasi discussed issues affecting her mandate as the Chairperson of the Minerals Commission of Ghana, as well as support required for the good people of Appiatse.
She is also hopeful of a good collaboration between the Police Service and the Commission in various achievements and in particular for a smooth and peaceful implementation of the Community Mining Scheme(CMS) to create employment for the youth and generate revenue to boost the economy of the country.
