Former President John Dramani Mahama is being held accountable by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC, for the excessive corruption and poor management at the Tema harbor.
On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, he made a ludicrous claim on NEAT FM’s morning program, “Ghana Montie,” claiming that the current NDC flagbearer had “sold” the largest port in the nation out of self-interest.
He was asked by host Mc Jerry Osei-Agyemang to defend an accusation, but he was unable to do so.
Abronye, as he is popularly known among his political colleagues, claimed that Mr Mahama sold the harbour for 35 years. And today Mahama is the reason why Tema harbour is at its current shambolic state.”
