The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Egyptian referee Amin Mohamed Omar to officiate the game between Mali and the Black Stars of Ghana next month.
Mali will host the Black Stars in the 2026 World Cup qualifications at Stade 26 Mars in Bamako on June 6, 2024.
The 38-year-old, who doubles as a lawyer, will be assisted by his compatriots Abouelregal Mahmoud Ahmed Kamel Ahmed and Ibrahim Ahmed Hossameldin Taha as assistant referee one and two respectively.
Meanwhile, Hassan Elghandour Ahmed who is also from Egypt will serve as the fourth referee.
The referee assessor for this highly anticipated game will be Abid Charef Mehdi from Algeria.
The Match Commissioner will be Balde Yaya from Senegal, and the security officer will be Dao Brahim from Mauritania.
