This week, Works and Housing minister Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah co-chaired a cross-functional committee meeting with Dr. Archibald Letsa, the Volta Regional Minister on the resettlement of individuals affected by the Akosombo Dam Spillage.
This follows ongoing interventions being undertaken to resettle individuals whose homes were affected by the Spillage from the Akosombo Dam earlier this year.
The Ministry will be inspecting the 115 units of homes being constructed for phase 1 of the resettlement while spatial planning for phase 2 is currently underway.
