Joy Industries Limited, a recognized Ghanaian herbal firm has bagged numerous awards at the 2024 International Manufacturing Conference and Awards (IMCA) in Africa for its consistency in producing quality products for the African market over the years.
The 2024 IMCA which was held in Côte d’Ivoire, under a theme; “Industrializing to Reduce Imports and Increase Exports” aimed at raising awareness and encourage patronage of high-quality, competitively priced African-made goods in foreign markets worldwide.
The IMCA further aims to bring together exemplary manufacturing companies from across Africa and ultimately to promote awareness of and trade in “made in Africa” manufactured goods among member states of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
Joy Industries Limited based in Akwadum in the Eastern Region has been a household name in Ghana and beyond because of its quality and uncompromised products produced over the years.
The award was to honor Joy Industries Limited for its outstanding role in authenticated herbal products in the manufacturing space as well as encourage the company to maintain its natural formula in its products for healthy and safe delivery to customers.
Speaking in an interview with Bryt FM shortly after receiving the award, Head of Finance for Joy Industries Limited, Mr. Samuel Osei Sarkodie assured customers both home and abroad of his outfit’s commitment to continue to produce high-quality products.
Mr. Sarkodie said the company’s products have many health testimonies on the African continent, adding that the main focus is to deliver the best products to reach customers’ satisfaction and contribute to economic growth and global trade.
He again assured that the firm will uphold its reputation to build a world class brand using medicinal herbs and world class technology in an environmentally responsible manner to produce quality products to satisfy customers across Ghana.
The Head of Finance for Joy Industries Limited affirmed the company has made significant improvements in quality and excellence of health products in Africa through research on medicinal herbs as well as development and production of herbal products.
He indicated that Vikil 20 is an herbal formula produced in Ghana and is widely marketed as a product to boost immunity as well as for general well-being.
