The National Women’s Organiser for National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Louisa Hannah Bissiw says the party has the best policies for women to improve their living standard, therefore they should vote massively in this year’s December election.
Dr. Hannah Bissiw said this at Goaso ana Kenyasi in an engagement with women from various groups within the Ahafo Region.
He said the NDC led by John Dramani Mahama will establish Women Development Bank (WDB) when elected to provide loans to women to support and improve their businesses.
According to her, the Nana Addo – Bawumia led government has collapsed all the banks which used to provide financial support for women who are into their own businesses.
She noted “for NPP to deliberately scrapped all these savings and loans banks for women to suffer, it’s time for women to also vote against them in the December polls”.
Meanwhile, the Ahafo Regional Women Organiser for NDC, Charity Gardiner also said the Nana Addo – Bawumia led government has deceived women in the country and made them poor as compared to the regime of NDC.
Charity Gardiner called on women in the region not to allow NPP to buy their votes with money and other items but rather come out boldly come December 7 to vote for the NDC to see improvement in their lives.
