President of Uncle Tee United Isaac Tetteh ‘T.T Brothers’ has backed Ghana Football Association (GFA) calls on government to offer support to clubs amid coronavirus crisis.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced suspension of all football competitions.
The Ghana FA through its President, Kurt Okraku appealed to the government to include clubs in the GH¢1 billion Coronavirus Alleviation Programme being rolled out to cushion Ghanaians against the virus.
In an interview with Bryt FM, he said, “If the FA president is seeking support for clubs from government, I think it is in the right direction”
“Government can assist us in some way in paying salaries of players because we are not in normal times. It will be good news for us if the government support us a bit” he lamented.
