Dreams FC defender Issah Yakubu has expressed worry about the deadly coronavirus that has wrecked the world.
Yakubu sharing his thought on the virus affirmed that he is not a happy person as he believes the disease has caused more harm than good to players plying their trade in the country.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced suspension of all football competitions.
“I’m not a happy person at all because staying at home without doing what I like most is not an easy thing to stand with. Though I’m with my family now but is like I miss my teammate”
“It is very worrying staying at home for about two to three weeks without football because it is through the game some of us enjoy.
“I think the excitement of the league came back until the outbreak of the diseases which has halted all football-related activities. The competitiveness of the league was exceptional but it’s unfortunate it has been suspended due to this pandemic” He told Bryt FM in an interview.
He has therefore called on Ghanaians to obey the directives of the president, Nana Akuffo Addo all in the interest to get rid of the deadly disease so they can return to the pitch.
