Flagbearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC has sent congratulatory message to US President-Elect Donald Trump.
In a Facebook post, Mr John Mahama wrote “Congratulations, former President Donald J. Trump, on your re-election as President of the United States of America.
I trust your re-election will bring greater prosperity to the American people and strengthen peace, security, and economic growth worldwide”.
Donald Trump won the US presidential election, defeating Democratic contender Kamala Harris.
Trump crossed the 270 mark after securing Wisconsin. Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris makes him the first former president to return to power since Grover Cleveland regained the White House in the 1892 election.
