The Chief Executive Officer of Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), Dr Sania Nishtar has arrived in Ghana to begin a working visit scheduled from May 3rd to 7th, 2025.
The Ministry of Health formally welcomed the CEO upon arrival, marking the start of a significant engagement aimed at reinforcing the strong relationship between Ghana and Gavi.
The visit presents an opportunity to reaffirm mutual commitments, assess ongoing collaboration, and highlight Ghana’s progress in health systems strengthening and local vaccine manufacturing.
Further engagements and activities are expected over the coming days.
