Ghana have been dealt a massive blow ahead of the 2026 World Cup tournament, with star midfielder Mohammed Kudus being ruled out of the tournament.
Kudus, who has been out of action since January has suffered a serious hamstring injury setback and is expected to be sidelined for an extended period.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder made progress in recent weeks after returning to individual training. However, fresh scans has confirmed a relapse that will keep him out of action for at least three months.
This means the enterprising midfielder will not be available for the Black Stars at the biggest soccer mundial.
Ghana had been counting on the Tottenham Hotspur attacker as one of their key players heading into the tournament.
Having established himself as a key member of the Black Stars team, his absence laves a significant void heading into the mundial.
The Black Stars are drawn in a tough group alongside England, Croatia and Panama.
