The Family of Constance Nyarko, alias Yaa Yaa,the popular tomato trader killed in Burkina Faso have commended government for sending a delegation to the final funeral right .
Chief of Staff,Julius Debrah,Eastern Regional Minister Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey led a delegation of government officials o. Saturday to join the bereaved family, friends, and sympathisers to mourn with them.

The MCE for New Juaben South Ransford Owusu Boakye on behalf of the government delegation announced Ghc20,000 donation to support the funeral.

The late trader lost her life on February 15,2026 during terrorists attack in Burkina Faso, where she had travelled together with others to import tomatoes.
Accounts indicate she was shot and her body burnt during the attack,
National President of Tomatoe traders association Eric Tuffuor says the deadly attack should mark the end of Ghana’s over reliance on tomato import from Burkinafaso.
